About Paul Evans - Inspirational Author

Paul Evans is the survivor of both a significant mental breakdown and bladder cancer.
He tells how you can get rid of the “Rats in your Attic” in this inspirational new book.

Paul is married to Bridget. They live in Northland, New Zealand, and between them they have four children, seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Paul has an engineering background and has also worked as a mortgage and insurance broker.
In 2010, Paul suffered a significant breakdown and spent some time in respite care and on heavy medication. It was while in care that he was introduced back to his Faith, something he had backed away from in his late teens.
It is through his Faith and counselling and a considerable amount of reading that Paul managed to become free from medications, and he was encouraged by a friend, Johnnie Sherer, to write a book of his own.
In 2018, Paul was diagnosed with stage 4 bladder cancer and given less than 12 months to live. Paul wasn’t convinced it was time to check out, and through lots of prayer and an opportunity to trial a new immunotherapy drug, nearly seven years later, he has a complete response to this treatment.
It is his hope that you, too, can find encouragement from the words in this book and that you also can start on the road to recovery.
The journey may not be easy, but he encourages you to step out in Faith and take on the challenge of your own personal recovery.
It is worth every effort!!
